My Opinion...
Alright you guys, I wanna give my opinion on the whole Gimme More video.
As you guys know, the video that premiered today on TRL today was the same video
we saw on Friday, that many people were convinced it was the iTunes version,
or the director's cut, but it ended up being the OFFICIAL video. I am really
happy for this video because Britney looks absolutely beautiful, and she looks
fuckin' HOT!!! Like many fans, I did want something more, and was waiting for
the other version, but still, I really love this video.

been getting. We made a lot of "hype" for the VMAs, and now for the music video.
We are the ones who are coming up with "We Want This...". Britney NEVER
said that the part we saw of her in the "funeral" outfit was going to make it
into the video. I mean, a lot of parts that are recorded don't make it to the final
cut. I too wanted that part, but what if it happened and we didn't like it? We
should be proud of Britney for what she put into the video, and for her talent.
She is going through many things. She can't do an awesome video if inside
she is feeling really bad. When she did the other amazing videos she wasn't
going through ANYTHING that she is going through now.
Before we think of dissin her, we should think of her as a human being.
She has done so much for all of us. She has entertained us with her performances,
her videos, her music, and talent. Now is when we have to support
and love her. 'nough said.... :)

i agree she is a human being and is going through hard tims; infact my heart goes out to her. but at the same time while she does look good the video is mainly her dancing around a stripper poll. i had such amazing thoughts on how the video would go; the fact that it just turned into her dancing around a poll for the majority of the video was so underwhelming.
i had envisioned concepts in my head and how amazing it all could've been. for example, during the second verse, where she sings, "the center of attention..." i pictured the "pap" following her as she enters a club; and "gimme more" referring to the media's stance that her life is an everyday news event and all they want is for her to "give them more".
the video just could have been so much more... but my heart still goes out to brit, and wish her the best, and if she's able to pull it altogether her comeback, and personal life could be awesome.
I'm a huge Britney fan, but it seems to me like Britney's heart just isn't in it anymore. She has the fame, she has the money, she has no reason to really try anymore. The gimme more video was lame, i don't care how you try to rationalise it, it was just "this will do", with no real effort put into it.
Everybody is claiming how this album will be Britney's "comeback" album, but in my opinion, this is more of a "give them something" album. Her next album after this one, if there is going to be one, will be her comeback album. Because by then she'll actually want it, and will put in some effort (ie. do interviews, promotion, actually choreograph her videos) etc.
